Merrimack College Club Hockey
The Merrimack College Men's Club Ice Hockey team is an intercollegiate, competitive Division II hockey club recognized by the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
The Men's Club Ice Hockey team is part of the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA) and competes in the Patriot East Conference.
This is a highly competitive division that consists of Boston University, Boston College, Providence College, Northeastern University and Bryant University. Merrimack also plays outside of this division in cross over games within the NECHA as well as other non league games. The team has traveled to New York, New Jersey and Florida. Home ice is at Lawler Arena located in the Volpe Athletic Complex on Merrimack's campus.
The season starts in late September and goes into early March (breaking for Winter Recess). Club Hockey plays an average of 20-25 games each season (1-2 per weekend), and practices two-three times a week.
